With the upcoming start of a new academic year, the 校友会 Board of Directors would like to thank Ruth Mikulak Katz ’82 for her service as president of the board this past year and welcome Shercole King ’04 as incoming president for the new term.

A graduate of the College of Business with many years of service on the 校友 Board, Katz is proud of the 2019-2020 校友 Board’s creativity and inventiveness in keeping the alumni 易胜博 connected during the pandemic. “I would like to thank our amazing board members for their hard work, 奉献, and commitment to Loyola’s mission,卡茨说。. “I also offer special gratitude to our committee chairs and my fellow board officers for their service through leadership, 参与, 和支持.”

A business management major and loyal Loyola volunteer, incoming president King believes alumni volunteers play a key role in the life of the university. “Being a volunteer has allowed me to be a voice for Loyola, communicating to students, prospective students, and other alumni on the topics of diversity, 易胜博, 和服务.” Her volunteer experience guides her vision for the 2021-2022 校友 Board, with key goals for the coming year being fostering stronger connections among alumni from all walks of life and providing more opportunities for alumni to partner in Loyola’s mission through service.
